I forgot to mention we already got the new key that is suppose to work but it just wont crank. The security light is on and wont crank, we tried the 20 minute thing to try and reset it, all it did was make the dinging to the door go faster, please help!

No once the new used column was put in it never started again. First the mechanic told my boyfriend to go and get that new key. And now they are claiming it didnt run before but it did, the new used steering column was put in now its just freakin messed up and wont crank

KEYLESS ENTRY PROGRAMMING Perform the following when replacing Keyless Entry Module or either Transmitter: Turn ignition switch OFF. 1. Jumper ALDL terminal G (PPL/WHT) to terminal A (BLK/WHT). Door locks will lock and unlock and trunk release will activate in approximately 2 seconds. See Fig. 29 . 2. Press any button on one transmitter. Door locks will lock and unlock and trunk release will activate in approximately 2 seconds. The first transmitter is now programmed. 3. Repeat previous step with the other transmitter. Thanks for the suggestion but my aldl connector does not have that keyless entry slot in it. Therefore the person who previously owned the car put in the aftermarket gm goodwrench keyless entry system that I have pictured. I need to knoe how can I manually program this box?

Did you find that it is causing your no start. If you can determine your key value, you can jumper the harness side of the ignition cylinder connector with resistors of the same value.

I am not the originator of the question but i do have the gm goodwrench factory installed keyless entry system, do you know how to program that box for a keyless remote?

I am not certain on the dealer installed goodwrench one. It has been some time since I have seen one. Have you tried to google it, or other more broad internet option?

I have a aftermarket keyless entry system on a 92 cad.I bought a new transmitter, but I lost the instruction on how to program it also on the 97 cad. With factory keyless entry, with the same problem as the 92 cad can you tell me how to program both transmitters

I'll see if I can come up with information. Problem is, it is not supported in factory information. I work at a dealership with a lot of depth, and may find someone in the know.

Try this:

PROGRAMMING
KEYLESS ENTRY PROGRAMMING
Perform the following when replacing Keyless Entry Module or either Transmitter:

When ever I lock my car with the master auto lock swith, it arms my alarm well after about an hour or more the alarm starts going off For no reason at all. It goes off at like 3AM 4AM 5AM, it is very annoying having to go outside and unlock it.

I know I can lock them all manually but it is really annoying.

I tried removing the car battery and it still screws up.

How can I fix it?
