RE: 1997 Cadillac Deville Concours, 4.6L DOHC
Well, I've confirmed the worst, but what was expected. Bad head gasket. Car puts exhaust into cooling system, but runs fine once started. Verified coolant in #1 and #3 rear cylinders (after sitting for a couple hours with the cooling system pressurized). The question is. Can the head gasket on the firewall side be changed without engine removal? I expect to have to put in Timeserts for all headbolts. Second question, I would like to use FelPro gaskets, would you suggest otherwise?
Thanks in advance for the input.
