We have a problem with the car not blowing out hot air. We have checked all hoses and all belts. We have checked the motor. It is getting hot under the hood. Motor is warm the hoses are too. Can't find out why the air is not hot comeing out of the heater. Please help what could be the reason why this heater is not blow out hot air. We have also changed the thermostat.

Is this a 4.9 car, or northstar? Grasp the hoses that feed the heater core, they are behind the passenger front strut tower. Are they hot, one will be cooler than the other to show heat is being exchanged. If they are not too hot, then the core might be plugged. If they are hot, check behind the glove box, there is a linkage rod. When you change temperature, this rod should move. You can also disconnect the rod from the white clip and move the blend door yourself. If it does not move when temp is changed, the actuator may be faulty.
