Bought from elderly neighbor who looked after vehicle I thought well.
Battery real weak. Seemed to drain battery power real easy. Put new bosch battery in. Worked well for couple of months.
Don't use car that much.
After trip at night left sidelights on thinking they would automatically turn off.
When got back to car after 1 hour could not start engine. Battery really weak. Would not even turn over.
Told by aaa need new starter.
Told by repair garage two types of starter.200.00 and 450.00!
How do I find out which I need?
Thanks

Hi,

A draw test is basically just a load test. Just seeing how much voltage and amperage a starter draws.

Here is a video that gives a little more detail. The word "draw" is not commonly used with this type of test.
