I got codes up on my cadillac by pushing the off button and the warmer button at the same time. By me pushing the hi button different codes starting poping up how do I know what codes are telling me somethings wrong. Is it all the codes that pop up? Cause there was alot of codes

If the codes have never been cleared after a repair has been made then every code since 1991 will be present.

If the car is in running condition it would be best if you cleared all the codes and started over to see which codes are still viable.

You should disconnect the negative battery cable for 5-10 minutes. This should allow the computer to reset. Then drive the car for about 10 miles which will allow the computer to reteach the system. If any codes pop up after this then they are active problems.

That doesnt work on a caddy, write the codes down and post them. Should start out 8.8.8 and it will end with 7.0, the off and warmer only. The others are paramaters that techs look at for diagnostics
