1984 Cadillac Deville 60000 miles

I need a water pump for my 1984 Cadillac Deville with a 4.1L 250 and I need to know if mine has a bypass tube or not. What is the bypass tube and where would it be if I have one?

Hi
It's a small hose/tube comming off top of pump goin to intake manifold.
