Drove car to store it was fine. Came home went to leave about two hours later, car wont start. Key turns over but nothing. Does not make a sound. Interior lights and door dings. Any idea where to start? Car does not make clicking sound when trying to start.

Is the security light on solid or flashing with the key in the run position? Also, have you checked the battery? Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.

Okay, went back to check the light. It is flashing, dome light comes on with all dash lights. Headlights did not come on. Door ajar was dinging. When I got out and shut door security light was still flashing. Which that and dome light stay on for few seconds after door is shut.

Try what I posted, but from the crank no start and the security light flashing with the key in run position there is a problem somewhere in the security system. Do have another key to try?

My battery post was loose, but it started with my spare key. So tightened cable and it is doing great now. Thanks for your help.
