The vehicle you have selected may not be equipped with a factory-installed cabin air filter or the manufacturer does not provide a removal & installation procedure.

Air Distribution and Filtering

NOTE: The air distribution system of this vehicle cannot be equipped with a cabin air filter.

There are 2 sources of air available to the air distribution system:

*Outside air
*Recirculated air

Air enters the passenger compartment from the:

*instrument panel registers.
*floor duct.
*windshield defroster.
*side window demisters.
*rear footwell duct (if equipped).

Passenger compartment air is exhausted from the vehicle through open windows or body air vents on the back panel of the cab.

These trucks do not have a cabin air filter which is why you are having issues finding it. Take a look at the attachment. Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks

It does not have one. Ford did away with them on many of the trucks when they redesigned the HVAC. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I bought a cabin air filter from NAPA but I can't figure out how/where to install it. The Napa guys didn't know either. Thanks, Doug.

Your truck does not have a cabin air filter. I checked and it is listed as not being equiped with one at all. It may have a dealer add on cabin filter but it did not come with a factory cabin air filter.

Because it is a dealer add on not a factory install. So there is a part number for it. Just like my 99 Jeep it is an option as well so there is a part number but it was never installed My Mustang the same thing but my F-150 never offered. Sorry but that is what it is saying. If you would like check with your local Ford dealer.
