2005 Buick Terraza power sliding doors

2005 Buick Terraza

When i open the drivers side rear power door once it is open it keeps trying to open then wont close . then if i put it in manual to close it when i put the van in drive the chime rings the entire time.

Make sure the contact pad and plungers are clean. They can be cleaned with a scotch brite pad. You may need a door adjustment and need to relearn the door position in the module. A number of things can affect the operation, if it binds in anyway the motor will detect it and may not operate properly.
