2004 Buick Terraza Can you turn off the sliding door alarm/

2004 Buick Terraza

The beeping while closing the power sliding doors is getting on my nerves, especially when the kids are getting in and out of the car in the car pick up line at school. Everyday I get stares and I am so tired of drawing attention to my car. I want to turn it off, but can't find out how.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Clean the door contacts with a non metallic scotch brite pad as the contacts are probably dirty.
