Hello, don't know the litre size of engine? If the engine is flooded, you may need to pull the plugs, dry-em out and clean-em up. You may need new plugs. Any trouble codes? Disable the fuel system, have helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs, when it refuses to start.

The plugs are all firing, checked each one, the coil packs are all good.I changed the fuel pressure regalutor. It started once with a loud popping noise from the tailpipe and a small hose coming from the fuel pressure regulator keeps blowing off, hot air blows out.I think it's a vacacum line. Two mechanics have looked at it and have not got the problem solved. It's a V-6,3300. Your input would be much apperciated. Thank you so much for your time. Cheryl

The exhaust system was redone. What vacuum cranking are you talking about? I'm single Mom with just a little bit of car knowledge. I don't want to keep replacing parts. It's very expensive and I feel I'm being taken advantage of due to being a woman. If you could possibly help me sort out the problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

It sounds like valve or valve timing. Pull the pcv see if that helps?
