My Regal recently began displying the following light: Service Vehichle Soon, Anti-Lock and Low Trac. These don;t come on all of the time, but are becoming more frequent. It seems to me to possibly be a ground problem rather than a sensor. It has been doing this for about 2-3 weeks. Last week I hit a Northeastern Ohio pot hole at about 50 MPH and it has become much more frequent. My model is the GS with the supercharged 3800 series II.

First thing you need to do is have the codes read, Autozone does it free, Post the results with the code number(s). Even if the service engine light is not on, there should be freeze frame data stored.

The same thing was happening with my 2002 Regal and it turned out to be the ignition switch. That solved the engine light, ABS light and trac light coming on. I do have a short in the car as well due to an accident. It is in my post. But the ignition switch caused the other problems. When this started happening, eventually the whole car would light up like a Christmas Tree and then completely shut down. It sat parked for over 4 months before it was determined that it was the ignition switch. Just a suggestion.
