1999 Buick Regal Climate contol

On a dual Climate control I have the opposite reaction on the driver side from the passenger side. I turn on the cold air and I get heat from the driver side an cold from the Passenger vise versa the reverse. I have looked at the dual motors and both seem to be functioning. Is there a way to find out what is causing the driver side to behave backwards when the passenger side is ok

Could be an issue with the control head, but this may be one of those trial and error type of things. Does it have automatic climate control as well as dual? It could be a temp sensor is bad. With what you describe I would think itis either the control head or the actuator motor that is bad since it does work, just does the opposite.
