I drove my car yesterday and I had problems with the wipers. I mean they dont work but when I tried to turn it on, the wipers stay in an upright position instead of going down. What is wrong here? I tried to push them back in place but they go back to that upright position once I try to turn the wipers off. I had to drive around with my wipers on the lowest setting so they wouldn't stay up. What can be done about this?

The most common cause of this is the wiper motor has failed. It just is not able to move the wipers any longer so I would suggest just checking voltage at the motor to make sure there are no other issues and then replace the motor.

Here is a guide that will help with testing the voltage:

Please see below for the process from the manual to replace the motor. Also, find the wiring diagram that will help with testing the voltage at the motor.

Please run through this material and let us know if you have other questions.

Thanks
