1998 Buick Regal

I have a 1998 Buick Regal and when I turn on the car it starts, but shuts itself off after 30 seconds or so. Can you please tell me what the problem could be?

Open the hood, and open the plastic 3.8 cover. On the right side on the cover. There a mass air flow sensor. Look like a square chip. This can be at fault or it could be a map sensor. But I would suggest the maf senor because I have the same problem. My maf sensor was crack I had to buy a new one. Try to buy a oem one, or a used one from junk yard. Please do not buy remanufactured one, they aren't good, and breaks easily.
