Where is the ignition module located?

Where is the ignition module located and will I be able to replace it myself?

Hello,

The ignition control module (ICM) is located under the ignition coils. It is where the ignition coils mounts to.
So if you follow all the spark plug wires from the engine, they will all to to one area and plug into the coil. When you remove the coils you will see the ICM. It will have mounting pins for the coils (see diagram).

It can be replaced easily. You will need some basic hand tools to get it done. Be sure to unplug the negative battery cable before getting started.
