1996 Buick Regal running rough. Then dies

Engine Performance problem
1996 Buick Regal 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

changed the fuel filter last weekend, now it is cutting out and acting like it's flooded then eventually dies. After it sits awhile it will start again Didn't have this problem until the filter was changed. I changed the filter because I was doing a tune up and filter was still factory. I am not hearing pump engage when starting the car. It set all night and started fine this morning. I have no idea whats going on.

Did a line get kinked changing it?

Look it over make sure that that didn't happen and make sure the filter isn't leaking.

Why did you change it?

IF all good, check fuel pressure and get the codes from the computer.
