A clunk

My car is a 1995 Buick Park Avenue. 4dr sadan not the ultra. It has the 3.8 litr engine. Has a new tranny, new motor, new struts, new hub bearings. It has about 250,000 on the body but I keep the car well maintained. So it looks nice. It has a clunk under the floor board. Also when stopped it makes the same sound if I rock the steering wheel to the left and the right. It clunks when going around a corner on an uneven surface. I thought maybe the sway bar bushings but I don't know. Would the rack and pinion do this? Or the CV joint? I am on a tight budget and a single woman. I would appreciate your help to diagnose it so I can make a decision on how to go about getting it repaired.
Thank you. Marietta Reid

What you describe could be a loose exaust system.
Check it to see if its loose or missing a hanger strap. The coment about it doing it on uneven surface makes me think that something is loose.
