Fuel filter is located under the vehicle toward the rear wheels on the driver side. It will most likely look like a small silver can with a fuel line connected to each end.
Turn OFF the ignition switch.
Caution: Wash your hands after handling coated spark plugs and before smoking. The coating is a non-hazardous material and incidental contact will not cause any adverse effects. However, exposure to polymer vapors - the result of contamination of cigarette products and subsequent burning of the polymer - may result in flu-like symptoms and should be avoided.
Spark plug wires from the plugs. Note the position of the wires before removing. Twist the boot 1/2 turn while removing.
Do not remove spark plugs when engine is warm.
Clean dirt and debris from spark plug recess area.
Remove the spark plugs from the engine.
Install the spark plugs. Tighten
Tighten the spark plugs to 15 N m (11 lb ft).
Aluminum heat shields are used over the spark plug boots on the cylinders which are close to the exhaust tubing. Care should be taken in order to ensure these heat shields are fully seated.
Install the plug wires to the proper spark plugs. Use the position reference noted during the removal procedure.
