I have an elec problem which seems to be confined to the 60 amp circut servicing the pwr door locks, trunk release and horns. I would like to know the best procedure to track down the short. If I do not remove the 60 amp fuse the battery will go flat in a very short time. The drivers side door was damaged recently so that is where I will start any information you can provide will be appreciated. I am a commercial refrigeration mech. And familiar with elec. Meters and circuts. Thank you.

You are going about it great what you need to do now that you have isolated circuit is go component to component disconnecting from fused circuit. Put amp meter in series place leads across fuse term. When it drops to zero you have found the fault.
