1995 Buick Park Avenue emergicy brake

Safty brake will not release-I seehow it works but don, t kwow how to fix it. If I had out of car I think I could fix it. Brake is a foot release

Check your owners manual. I can't remember on this model, isn't there a pawl or gear mechanism that the ebrake arm fits into? You'll need a good small flashlite (I usually hold mine in my mouth) and good dexterity lying (sp?) On your back--push a screwdriver where the lever joins the gear and try to move it back manually. Good luck
