REMOVAL:
Drain coolant until it is below level of the thermostat.
Remove the coolant outlet assembly (1).
Remove thermostat (3).

INSTALLATION:
For installation, reverse the removal procedure. All engines use a gasket O-ring (2). The thermostat, coolant outlet (1), is sealed with a gasket.
