1991 Buick Park Avenue spark plugs

How do I get a striped plug out, the spark plug socket will not sit firmly on the spark plug so I think it is striped, do have any suggestion

Assuming that the socket is the correct size for your plugs. You can always use vice grips if possible to get them in the right angle. Use small, gentle taps with a hammer (on the metal, not the porcelin) of the plug as you try to work it out. Be careful not to strip the threads into the head.
