My car starts up in the morning after sitting all night, and idles great for about 2 minutes, and then just dies.

if I try to restart it immediately, it will die immediately. But if I let it sit for about 10 minutes, it will start backup, but run really rough and then die after about 20 seconds.

i have replaced the spark plugs and changed the oil yesterday myself, but it didn't help any.

i am wondering if this is a vapor locking issue, and if you think it is, how would I go about fixing that?

do you think it could be the fuel filter, and if so, where do I find that, to replace it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks! Mike

Hello Mike

Yes it is possible the fuel filter is plugged of possibly a bad fuel pump. The filter is easier to replace and also cheaper and should be done about every 30,000 miles or so. It is located under the car inline usually back near the fuel tank if you dont see it there follow the fuel line towards the front of the car it will be in that line somewhere.
