Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 180000 miles
my car starts up in the morning after sitting all night, and idles great for about 2 minutes, and then just dies.
if I try to restart it immediately, it will die immediately. But if I let it sit for about 10 minutes, it will start backup, but run really rough and then die after about 20 seconds.
i have replaced the spark plugs and changed the oil yesterday myself, but it didn't help any.
i am wondering if this is a vapor locking issue, and if you think it is, how would I go about fixing that?
do you think it could be the fuel filter, and if so, where do I find that, to replace it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
have the same problem?
