Parking brake cable

Brakes problem 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 118, 00 miles

I changed the rear calipers and I can't get the parking brake cables reconnected. Is there a special tool for the job? Is there a trick to doing it? Your help desperately needed.

Hello,

First make sure the parking brake is not set, this will make the job really tough. Next, use a pair of side cutters (dikes) to grab the cable while pulling back on the spring to get the cable over the caliper arm. It might also be easier to disconnect the other end of the cable to get the job back together. SEE BELOW
