My horn is connected to an alarm system. The problem is if I brush across the horn it honks. I simply tap the horn and it goes off. Sometimes for no reason it simply keeps on honking. Problem is has the airbag in it and don't know how to take the steering wheel off to check the connections for the horn, without deploying the airbag.
Where I work I do not always know when it will be honking all on its own. Luckily it has not ran down my battery. The security light is also on at all times.
Of course I have to unlock the door to get to the horn because the clicker is useless at this point.
I have read about removing the fuse, but I know I need a horn. How expensive is it to have it checked out.

Hi:

to have someone check it, you're looking at around 75 to 100 dollars in labor. But it's a good choice to have someone check it. It's very easy to make a simple mistake that could cost hundreds more.
