I have a 94 lesabre
if I accelerate past half throttle and once it hits 3500 rpm and above it surges or cuts in and out. It seems like a fuel delivery problem. No code. New pcm, o2 sensor, catylitc con, plugs, wires, coils are good, pcv valve. New vaccum lines. Run like a s.O.B lots of power. No prblem what so ever. Just the cutting out. Good mpg. It has 146,000. No codes at all. It has a lite blue smoke under hard accl. This problem has only occured when warm. And gets worse once up to running temp. I'm getting mad trying to figure it out. PLEASE HELP!

Try your module if your going to just replace it make sure you use ac delco but can check it with a scanner watch your timing around the problem rpm and see if it goes negative if it does replace it

I did that already I tried 2 seperate ecm's. Same problem. Could it be the fuel pump on in the fuel delivery system? Or maybe vacuum leak. I'm gonna put a new fuel filter on but I know that won't solve the problem. Any other ideas. The catylitic converter is open exhaust has no leaks. Gets good gas milage and doesn't use water. It uses 1/2 between oil changes. No lifter noise. And the plenum look good. It is emaculate under the hood. I'm lost. Anything will help.
Thanks

Try the fuel filter first.
then, try cleaning the mass air flow sensor, with carb cleaner. 8)

O.K. I replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the mas a/f sensor. The problem is still there.I took is out and ran it good to make sure of a best disrition. It seem to do it olny when is a running temp. And the long I drive. So lets say I drive it to the market. 4 miles not up to temp. If I floor it it acclerates great. Not hesition, no missing nothing I hauls ass.. If I drive like 30 miles and floor it is accelrate from 0 to 25(still in 1st gr)then the engine will act like it cuts out. Clean no spuddering or anything. Then like 1 second later its full throttle then it cut clean same thing till it hits second. Then it goes just fine. So if youve ever topped out a GM (top speed like 99 or 110) it cuts out till you dop below the govnered speed. Thats percicle what it does only a higher rpms and above half throttle but i'm only going 55
could it be the speed sensor failing or the coolant temp sensor.(No codes at all)or throt. Postioning sensor. This car is a tank and it is a fart away from being perfect.
What do u think?
Thank you for the other good info though.I have ran fuel cleaner and have boush platinum plugs. It did this before and after the new pcm the gm dealer installed.
I do all my own work so
please help or send me a bullet for me or the car cause i'm getting pissed!
Thanks buddy
