1992 Buick Lesabre completely loses power WHILE DRIVING

My car completely loses all power while I am driving. Everything shuts down. There is no power at all-no interior lights, clock, radio, nothing! Then, I can disconnect the battery and about 5-10 minutes later, I can start it again and it's good for most of the rest of the day. The Battery, Alternator, and Starter are all still relatively new. I've never had this problem before. PLEASE HELP! : : :Cry: :cry: :D :D :shock: :shock:

First thing I would check is the condition of the ground wire from the battery to the block & probably more importantly the ground wire to the body.
A corroded connector can cause very interesting, intermittant anomalies.
