1990 Buick Century IAC valve

I keep having a code come up for the iac valve but I have replaced it and the idle is running way to high. When driving down the road it idles at about (25-30) mph. Can anyone help with this?

Check for any vacuum leaks
check IAC wiring back to the ECM
