1999 Buick Century dies on idle

1999 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic rebui? Miles

EWhn hot it dies in idle. Starts right back but idles up and down. Jumps on take of. No codes coming up no check engine light. Replaced idle air control. Rebuilt motor. Doesn't do it unless hot mechanic has no idea.

Clean out the EGR valve amd test the throttle position sensor and manifold position sensor

Does computer need to be reset after putting on the idle air control for it to work properly?

The idle air control valve has to undergo a relearning process-could be 40 key cycles

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem
