I have a 89 Buick Century custom 3.3. I have replaced the fuel filter, pump, and injectors, plugs wires ignition mods and my car still refuses to start. I was driving down the road when it died. It will turn over but not start, I have tested to see if I am getting power back to my pump and I am not, I am wondering if this could be a oil pressure switch, I heard that it wil not start if it is faulty. Also, where is this switch? Another idea was that it could be a fuel saftey switch? Where would that be located as well? Any other sugestions you could give me would be a wonderful help, the car is in amazing condition and after dropping the tank 1000 times and putting parts in i'd love to just get it to run. Thank you so much

Any applicable mil codes? If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. Also, I'd want to check for rpm signal, that comes from the crank sensor. It's hard to tell what is going on, unless you can do some testing. The oil pressure switch in your fuel pump circuit can't kill the engine, as long as the fuel pump relay is functional. There is no fuel shut-off switch for this vehicle.

Use a gage to check fuel pressure, if that is an issue? Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. In the diagram check fuse c4, not only check the fuse, use a voltage tester on the circuit, to check for voltage. In the diagram c8 is a fuel pump test circuit, it looks like an electrical connector with nothing plugged in, if you use a jumper wire from batter positive to connector, the pump should run, no need to use the key. You probably should use an inline fuse on the jumper, just in case.
