Brake light and coolant light on at the same time. Checked temperature and seemed just fine, then drive another 20 minutes pulled over at a gas station and checked fluids. Car was steaming. Checked brake fluid and was full to line. Then cooled and fuller overflow to line. As half the water was gone. Tried to drive home both lights are still on? Still having issues. Can’t find a leak. Why both lights on?

But both have fluids as needed but car seems to be running hot.

Hello, I'm Danny.

The first thing I would do is perform a CAN scan. It will check all the systems on your car and possible codes it may have stored for these issues you are having including the brake and coolant light. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved with a CAN scan:

Once you have this performed get back to us with any code information that was stored in your vehicle's computer and we can then properly diagnose. After that we can also provide you with diagnostic steps. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
