When I am driving and begin to brake at a low speed my car makes a very loud screeching noise. Only when I brake this happens. I took my car to a mechanic and said that the front rotors and brakes needed to be replaced and so I did just that and the noise still continues. I then took it to a different mechanic to have a second opinion and said that the brakes I bought were no good to go back and get a new pair and refund. I did that and got the brakes replaced and the same noise problem continues. I do not know what is going on and feel like I am wasting my money.

Note: Rotors and (Duralast gold)brake pads were bought from AutoZone

If this noise is from the brakes the it is most likely one of two issues. Either the pads that have a high metal content are squeaking. I would suggest switching to a ceramic pad as these are much quieter.

The other possible cause is the rattle clips are making noise and need to be lubricated.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

Below is the process that will give more detail on replacing the pads and the clips.
