Would you also know the minimum thickness for front rotors? Some are stamped on the rotors but some are not. Thanks again in advance for your help.

Would you have the torque specs for lower control arm, brake mounting bracket and banjo bolt for the vehicle listed above? I'm not sure if the control arm bushing bolt has a torque spec or not. I just asked. Thanks in advance.

For the A arm -
Pivot bolts through the bushings (1) Front bolt 80 ft lbs Rear bolt 140 ft lbs
Shock mount bolt - 80 ft lbs
Ball joint stud - 135 ft lbs

Brake mounting bracket - Doesn't have them, the caliper and pads slide on ears that are cast into the steering knuckle. It is held in place by the caliper pins.
Caliper pins are torqued to 22 ft lbs.
Banjo bolts are all 145 In Lbs using new seal washers.

If you are installing new calipers but still have the old master cylinder be careful when bleeding them that you don't push the pedal down all the way, they tend to build up rust and crud in the bore and pushing the pedal down drags the pistons through that. Then you end up with a sinking pedal because the fluid leaks past the seals.

I just replaced both u joints on a 2005 Chevy avalanche. Now it doesn't catch up the speed that it used to. I don't see anything wrong with the installation. What can cause this? It started only after changing the u joints(front and rear). It has no hanger bearing (center u joint).

The site is here to assist those that need direct help but also provide a resource for others that have the same issue.
