Brakes feel mushy

My brakes when I apply them, it is like stepping on a bowl of mashed potatoes. It will stop but it makes me feel very unsafe. I replaced the brake lines on the front wheels two years ago and made a world of difference. Do you think it is the lines, pads, or booster? Your help is greatly appreciated

Good evening,

It sounds like you may either have air in the system from a leak or a bad master cylinder.

Did you check the brake fluid level?
