Brake lights stay on

Does the third brake light stay on as well? If all the lights stay on then the brake lamp switch is the issue.

If the third brake light does not stay on then your issue is the multifunction switch.

Please take a look at this wiring diagram and you will see that the third brake light runs directly from the switch to the fuse block to the lamp.

The side lights run through the multifunction switch so if they are the only two staying on then the switch is shorted.

We need to test voltage at each location to determine what the cause is.

Please see the wiring diagram below for more info. I also included the process for the switch as I suspect that is the issue if I am reading this correctly that all the lights are not working.
