While having the summer tires installed at shop' B' I was advised that I needed a complete rear brake job including Calipers, rotors, and pads. Front brakes had 10 mm left and Rear had 4 mm left. Why would the back brakes have worn so much more than the front? I always thought the front wore sooner. Is it normal to need new Calipers 93,000? Your opinion would be appreciated.

It is not uncommon for the front and rear to wear at different rates. Basically we need to just replace the pads and rotors when they are worn. Plus the fact that the brakes lasted 93,000 miles would mean that if the front were still at 10 mm, I would think that the front have been replaced already. Even if they have not, if they lasted this long then there is no issue with the calipers unless they just recently started sticking. In which case, you would feel them dragging and all the pads would not be worn evenly on both rear wheels. It is nearly impossible for two calipers to fail at the same time because they are completely separate from each other.

So i would just replace the rear brakes and keep an eye on them to ensure they are not still wearing too fast.

Plus here is a guide on how to retract the rear calipers:

Below you will find the process from the manual that will help with this.
