I need to take the brake light switch and its white bracket out and test them or replace them. Will that affect the actual braking?

Hi,

If you remove the brake light switch, it will not affect the actual braking, but you will have no brake lights. If it is sticking on, reach up under the dash and see if it is loose or stuck.

If you need to remove it, here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe
