Did my first spark plug replacement. Started car and drove for about half a mile then engine cuts out. Would not start back up unitl about 10 min later until cold. Seems like there is some sort of security ignition cut off I'm not aware of. How is this reset?

The answer to your first question about a cut off switch, no there is no cut off switch. If all that happened between the car running normally and it cutting off is the changing of the spark plugs, then I cant see a correlation here. Can you tell me what happens when it cuts off, and tell me the story from the beginning so that I have a good idea of what the problem is. Ã â Â

Called local dealer. He thinks its a bad coil. Makes sense. Going to try and get one good one and replace until problem disappears. Unless there is a coil test I can do?

Inspect each coil visually. If there is cracking or oozing from any coil, it is suspect.
