I notice a front brake noise

I purchased the car earlier this year and lately I have been getting into more traffic jams (stop and go). I noticed that in heavy traffic jams when I drive and stop drive and stop for few feet at a time I notice a front brake noise. Thanks in Advance of your assistance. B
