2003 BMW X5 cold start engine hesitation

When I try to do an initial cold start in the morning, engine hesitates and idles for a few minutes. After warming up, evething seems to be fine. I have a CPO Protection plan. Could you tell me what I have to do.

Cold start issues can be difficult. What have you done so far? If you take it to the dealer, there is a CPO handling fee (at least in the U.S. Market) so I would advise caution as the dealer will often not have your best interest in mind.
