The abs control module which was rebuilt by module masters, dsc pressure valve, and front wheel sensor were all replaced, The Dash Abs lights all are now out, but the tranny still slips. The dealer said gear 1, 2, 3 shows faults. The dealer says they do not fix, the only replace. What should I do. Dealer said the fluid was fine, could this be the bands or clutch plates? Are the gears bad? Please help? What is a reasonable cost for Z F 5 speed transmission? Thank you for your help! Could this be a simple as a vacum leak?

Hello,

It sounds like the issue with the pressure regulators in the transmission. Your vehicle has 5 regulators.
Overtime those regulators can loose their calibration and will require more pressure to function properly, which typically leads to slipping.

Accessing and replacing those regulator are not terribly difficult.
All you will have to do is drain the fluid, then take off the transmission pan. That will give you access to the regulators as well as the shift solenoids.

I have attached the replacement procedures below.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
