2006 BMW 530i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

question? Is it necessary to replace rotors each time brake pads are replaced? Last replaced at 49000 mi, currently at 93000mi, no sqeraking or grinding heard, indicator light came on stating it was time to replace pads

I would consider reuse of the rotors if they are within minimum thickness tolerances, that number is stamped into the rotor. Be warned, new pads and old rotors can squeak. Textar or Jurid pads would be my chioce, I believe Jurid is the manufacturer for BMW on those pads.
