After car idle for a 2 weeks with good battery it always floods when starting and have to wait a couple of days for it to dry out

Has the check engine light ever come on? It sounds like you have a bad temp sensor. It tells the computer how rich to make the fuel mixture. If it is reading wrong, it could cause the engine to flood.

The 1994 530 was not a 6 cylinder, are we talking about the same car?
