1998 BMW 528 Shaking

I have a 1998 bmw 528i, for awhile the car had to be warmed up for 3-5 minutes before driving or it would stall. Then it started shaking when first started which would go away as car warmed up, then the car would kinda putt putt with shaking so I stopped driving it for about a week but would still try to start it. Now the car shakes upon starting and shuts down, if I rev the gas it attempts to stay started but still shuts down.

Start with checking the intake for leaks, the boots get cracked and can do this.

My 528 1998 is doing the exact same thing. Do you have any updated news on what the problem was? The car is sitting at home right now and I am considering getting it towed to the dealer.
