Engine Performance problem
1995 BMW 525i 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

while driving I notice I was losing power, I got off the expressway and she cut off I tried to start it and it was cranking but would not turnover. Several minutes later it started then cut off again I repeated that same scenerio several times. I am not sure if it is my fuel pump or filter please help am uenemployed and desperate.

So if I understand correctly you car will crank over but not start and run? What have you checked so far? Have you checked for spark? Have you checked to see if you are getting fuel? Get back to me with as much info as you have and we will go from there.
