2003 BMW 325 Won't start?

Computer problem
2003 BMW 325 Automatic 80000 miles

I have a 2003 BMW 325ci and ever since it hit 60K miles it been in and out of the shop! Most recently I was driving and all of a sudden the radio just cut off and stopped working and then all of the warning lights on the dashboard started lighting up one after another and then the car started to sputter and died. Any idea what the problem might be and a ball park of what it will cost to fix it?

Jeff, thank you for the donation. The problem could be several things, starting with the battery and checking all the battery positive feeds and grounds. There are also factors such as the possible intervention of the SRS (supplemental restraint system) The results from a "short test" with the proprietary BMW software (or a reasonable facimile) would be my request before diagnosis could be meaningful. The problems you have reported here surely will set faults and that is what I need to know.
