2001 BMW 325 01 BMW 325IC Will not Start

I have a 01 BMW 325IC that I had to pull the intake to change one of the heater tubes thats done but now all the car does is crack over and wont start. I have fuel to inj. But it still wont fire off. I had to disconnect tha starter lead from the jump lead. Please HELP.

Did you reconnect the crank sensor that is next to the starter.

Yes, I have checked all the fuses and still will not start. Someone told me since I disconnected the starter lead that the computer might have to be reprogrammed.

The actual problem may be a need for EWS realignment not reprogramming.
