1994 BMW 325 starter wiring

It appears that there are 2 positive connections and 1 negative connections. My question is: Does it matter which positive terminal goes to which wire? There is a red wire going to the pos connection to the battery and a pos connection going to the wiring harness.

Hello and thanks for the donation!

No, it does not matter which way, one goes to the alternator and one to the power distribution but both are from the same place inside the starter.
