I replaced the motor in this vehicle and now the key will not start the car but I can start it under the hood with a starter button. Can you tell me what my problem might be

Check the trigger wire that goes to the starter, you may have not connected it. It may also be an EWS alignment issue, for this, you will need special software. There is also the neutral safety switch that may be disconnected. If you need more help, please repost with the VIN.
